Unique Elegant Column Wedding Dress with Signature Bow
This dress had the sophisticated, structured, elegant column fit of an Old Hollywood gown.
It has a very structured bodice and from the waist down, it features a sculptural skirt that wraps around the body seamlessly. It falls straight down from your hips in a very structured way that you feel like you float across a room, with a signature origami bow detailing on the back that drapes into a dramatic train.
It is very easy to walk in and helps keep your posture the entire time you're wearing it. It does not cut into your skin under the arms. And it does not fall down because the inside elastic and clips help it securely stay in place.
The collection this dress is from focuses on 60s sculptural couture. It was the most elegant and sophisticated piece of art I've ever been lucky enough to wear. I fell in love with this dress because I always wanted to wear an elegant piece of art to a sophisticated wedding. And I didn't want to go with a typical wedding dress designer -- I was thrilled when I found out Viktor&Rolf were doing a wedding line (actually one of their first collections was the year this dress was made) and they only create pieces of art down the runway.
I am 5'7" and I wore 4" heels with this dress. It is perfectly tailored to sit just above floor length and there is extra fabric to spare in case you want something longer.
Condition: There are some blemishes along the bottom, on the train (bottom back side), near the bow, and the front of the dress, please see photos.
