This dress is absolutely stunning and only worn for a short portion of the wedding. I receive compliments to this day and it will surely awe your guests. There are three layers of french lace which flows throughout the train. there are pearls that accent the cap sleeve and also the bustle. The dress is a size 38 in Berta (Isreal sizing) and was not altered except for the length. The material and backless design makes the dress very forgiving, which is nice in case you fluctuate. It molds to your body.
The train is long, yet flows nicely and is not heavy down the aisle. A french bustle was added which makes it easy to dance and walk.
I wore the dress only for our ceremony. I had a second dress so not one stain got on this one - the preservationist said it looked literally unworn. It will come in the preservation box which has not been opened and in mint condition.
My measurements on the day of the wedding were B: 35.5 / W: 25 / H: 37. It was a bit big on the waist but not noticeable. However, at my first fitting, my measurements were B: 35.5/ W: 27 / H: 38.5. I had lost weight since my last alteration so the fabric definitely stretches, is light weight, and forgiving - hugs curves like a glove and accentuates your figure. The back being open and low zipper make it possible to fit a variety of body types.
