I fell in love with this Berta gown on first sight.
I tried on some of the most exquisite wedding gowns including Vera Wang, Inbal Dror, Zuhair Murad and many more..
But nothing compared to this Beautiful Berta.
I wanted to feel unique, elegant and exquisite on my wedding day with an aura of modernity, sophistication and timeless elegance.
I wanted my future husband and guests to not only say 'you look beautiful' but 'wow'.
This Berta gown was all of this and more. Guests literally gasped in awe as I walked down the aisle.
The detailing and intricate beading on this gown is truly incredible. A layer of beautiful delicate lace sits under an embellished layer of hand laid crystals and pearls that glisten in the sunlight. The dress is supported by beautiful pearl straps and has a backless design which features an elegant silk bow as the centre-piece from which the tulle overskirt flows.
Every Berta gown is made from nothing but the finest materials, and is only handled by the most talented craftsman. This dress showcases Berta artistry at its most refined.
But comfort is certainly not compromised with this Berta gown. The silhouette is figure hugging and highlights the best bits of a woman's shape, but dancing and moving around was also easy and comfortable. Throughout the celebrations I felt confident, sexy, sophisticated, and beautiful.
I staged the formality of the dress through the wedding day, starting with the soft detachable tulle overskirt and veil providing more of a traditional bridal feel during the ceremony. Followed by the gown with tulle overskirt only during cocktails and canapes. And the dress only for reception. I have always known that I would opt for a slim-fitting wedding gown, but there was always one part of me that thought that this would be my only chance in life to wear a big white dress…! Well this Berta gives you all of that! The detachable overskirt makes this dress truly PERFECT. Three completely different bridal moments, all courtesy of one amazing Berta gown!
The gown was purchased from The Wedding Club in Knightsbridge, London. The owner of the boutique said that this was the most beautiful, intricately detailed Berta gowns of the entire collection.
This is definitely one of those ‘instagrammable’ wedding gowns, everyone was in utter shock once they saw me walk down the aisle!
