Dreamy Berta dress that compliments every curve.
Part of the Athens Fall/Winter 2019 collection. I tried on ~25 Berta gowns at three trunkshows and couldn't say no to this one. Favorite part - the floral straps can be worn off the shoulder for a soft, romantic look; or, worn beautifully on the shoulders if desired. I wore them down for the majority of the day, then pulled them up when the dance party started.
Berta style 19-101 features a semi-sheer corset bodice with molded bra cups, off the shoulder lace straps, point d'esprit lace embellished with floral re-embroidered appliques, a figure-hugging silhouette, and an extended train. This gown is lined with stretch fabric and is very form-fitting.
Berta’s designs and craftsmanship are noticeably at a whole other level compared to most wedding gown designers. Built-in bodysuit and corset-style bodice with boning and structured cups create that perfect hourglass silhouette that Berta is known for, and it is still incredibly comfortable, easy to move around in and not too heavy. It has a long train with horsehair trim that gives it some more volume at the bottom and makes the train always 'photo-ready'. See-through corset at the back. Straps can either go over the shoulders, draping or can be removed entirely.

FYI, the 40 fits me almost perfectly and I am usually a size 0 to 4, or 27 in jeans and my measurements are:
