Beautiful Off-The-Shoulder Tulle and Point d'Esprit Fit and Flare Wedding Dress with Illusion Open Back
Very few alterations were done to this dress. It was taken a little bit at the seams on the side and tucked a bit around the buttocks area for some definition (I have a pretty small rear). I think the shoulder straps were taken in a half inch or so, it was very minimal. Other than that, length was not touched and no other alterations were made.
There was a stain on it from the wedding night, but we had it professionally cleaned, and then my mother, who worked in fashion design for 4 decades, got out any blemishes that remained after the cleaning.
What I loved about the dress was that it was timeless and romantic. It wasn't something I would look back in 20 years and wonder why I chose it. The lace is beautiful but not overdone. It also showed off my back which was a feature of myself I liked, without looking weird on my broad shoulders. The dress was SO comfortable to wear throughout the entire event too!
