I knew I wasn’t the girl that would try on one dress and know that it was the one. So after trying on about twenty dresses, I felt defeated, until I tried on this dress. I immediately fell in love with the feminine, subtle sparkle, scrolling lace pattern, and delicate open back.
It is an elegant and romantic dress with just enough of a classy, sexy feel given off by the peek-a-boo, fashion-forward, deep side cutouts with sheer, graphic lace. The off-the-shoulder sheer lace sleeves show off a sweetheart neckline. It has a cathedral-style train finished with organic-edged lace. My favorite part about the dress is the subtle sequins that shimmer when they catch the light. The dress has a layer of matte-side luster satin in an ivory shade. (It also won wedding dress of the year in 2018 for the bridal buyer awards!)
I bought this dress as a sample in a size 10 but I am a size 2. I had intended to have it altered but never got it done. The photos of me show it clipped in the back where they had taken it in to show how it might fit. It has been in its garment bag since I bought it. Unfortunately, I will not be able to wear this dress, but I really want to be able to give someone who fits the dress better, the opportunity to wear this gorgeous gown.
Since it has not been worn to a wedding, or outdoors, the dress is in perfect condition. It was missing a few fabric-covered buttons towards the bottom of the zip-up back. BUT, I did get spare buttons which I will include, to be sewn on.
This is my dream dress and I hope it can find a new owner to share that experience!
